Thomas J. Nigro started out in the food industry in the 70's. He began his career in the 90's as a buyer and seller of department store closeouts and factory clothing cancellations. He also owned a successful Car Wash in the Bronx, NY

2000: He founded ITALIAmerica TRADE INC., a company specializing in Italian merchandise from Italy to the USA.

2001: He co-founded the Tony Danza Clothing Collection with John "Cha Cha" Ciarcia. Fabrizio Capigatti, the designer of the clothing line, he is also the men's apparel buyer in Italy for Bergdorf Goodman.

2003: He signed Bobby Valentine, the former NY Mets manager to a worldwide clothing line contract and founded the Bobby Valentine Clothing Collection.

2004: He co-founded RB Energy, LLC. with Financier, Mark Arzoomanian and American Stevedore CEO, Sabato Catucci to become North America Distributors of Red Bull Vending Machines, which later merged with a publicly traded company.

2005: He became a celebrity liaison for a non-profit organization, Hope Through Housing. He introduced Marty Appel, the former public relations for the NY Yankees to the project for his services.

2007: He founded Nigro Realty, LLC., he purchased and managed many residential, commercial and mixed-use properties throughout the Bronx 
& Westchester, NY. He has since provided a broad range of services including representing buyers and sellers of residential and commercial properties, as well as both sides of rental transactions.

2012: He co-founded VIP Encores, 
(VIP) books and produces entertainment and special events for an eclectic group of nationally recognized clients including theme parks, performing arts centers, casinos, catering halls, supper clubs and colleges. In addition to servicing large entertainment venues. We also work closely with corporate and private event planners to create and execute one-of-a-kind memorable events. (VIP) producers live music and movies.
 
2014: He co-founded and became the sole owner of the Arthur Avenue Wood Fired Pizza Company. In March of 2018 the company was acquired. He also founded Lil Eataly Italian Products.

2016: He was the co-founder of Arthur Avenue Market Place
& Arthur Avenue Soda Company and became sole owner.


2021: He setup the Thornwood Tavern, Morris Park Inn became a majority partner and then acquired the business.

2022: He became a wholesale
petroleum distributor with terminal access in NY, NJ, CT. & FL. that supplies wholesale fuel to retail gas stations.
